Immensely grateful to be celebrating life, health and simply the opportunity to be able to make the transition out of such an interesting 365 days. To think we started this year with such high hopes and expectations but in return, were challenged with global distress. While not all of what I’d planned was possible to execute this year, being able to sustain the more important components of life especially during such a bizarre period, was for me proof of God’s favor and simultaneously a shift in perspective. Seeing it as a season of preparation, the chance to become more self-aware and of course improve and also find a rhythm of better discipline.
As we make the transition into the new year, a new season, I’m prepared to carry out the work done in this past season to align myself more closely with my purpose and further strengthen my stride to the abundance I know I’m destined to achieve.
So What’s next?
MIND THE BUSINESS I KEEP
I saw a lot of people become entrepreneurs and business owners this year, voluntarily and also as a pivot due to circumstances. This was certainly a year of trial and error but the traction did provide some clarity in the end. Focusing more on growing my personal brand this upcoming year is at the top of the list. If I’m being honest, I’ve surprised myself with how far I’ve come and have no plans to stop or let up; not this time around. Embracing whats already been accomplished and using all of what I’ve learned and gained to be even more intentional about taking my brand and business to the next level.
MANIFEST MORE, FEAR LESS
Being fearless in pursuit of the life you idealize is attainable, we just have to be open to working for it and being disciplined. As long as the goal is in mind and in hand and our routine reflects, we are capable of the success desired with some strategy and dedication. Write it down! Create a visual aid. Refer back anytime you seem to lose track of what it is you’re working towards. Making healthy deadlines and being open to stepping out on faith, taking risks but being open to the end picture or the road taken, not looking exactly as envisioned.
PRESERVATION & RESTORATION
Going big, being bold, but keeping things simple by respecting my personal time, and staying consistent. So much of this year was about being centered, in faith, in self and managing the uncomfortable feelings that came with the restrictions. The impact was positive and going into the new year will be dedicated to preserving that growth, but also restoring the connections I fell short of this past year.
What in 2020 are you celebrating going into the new year? What are you looking forward to most?
